We source our tallow from North 44, a local, regenerative, grass-fed farm in Bend, Oregon.
North 44 is certified grass-fed and certified Animal Welfare Approved. Regenerative agriculture approaches the land and cattle as circular ecosystems; essentially, the animals feed the plants, and the plants feed the animals. This greatly reduces the need for endless rows of corn and soy to feed the cattle - everything they need is in the pastures they roam on - how it's supposed to be.
